Gendo ad on LinkedIn Ads: ♾️ We’re going Unlimited. ♾️

As we prepare for the launch of the new Gendo Canvas, our collaborative design environment, we want you to experience what professional, unconstrained exploration feels like.

Effective immediately, we are removing credit limits for the duration of this campaign. Features like Render Design, Edit Material, Style Transfer, are completely FREE to use!

What this means for you:
✅ No Ceilings: No second-guessing. Total creative freedom.
✅ True Canvas Preview: Experience the high-velocity workflow we’ve designed for the upcoming release.
✅ Design First: We view Gendo as essential software, not a fleeting "image generator."

Gendo ad on LinkedIn Ads: After three years of building, today we’re introducing something new at Gendo.

We started with a simple belief: architects shouldn’t have to wait to see their ideas clearly.

Design moves quickly.
But visualisation often sits outside the design process — different tools, different workflows, sometimes even different teams.

Sketch → model → export → render → wait → revise.

That gap slows exploration and stunts progress.

Over the past few years we’ve been working toward a different way to work, bringing generation, iteration and collaboration into the same environment where design decisions actually happen.

Today we’re excited to introduce Canvas, the new workspace at the centre of Gendo.

This release represents the realisation of three years of work with an incredible co-founder (Will Jones ❤️🔥 ), an amazing team, and the hundreds of thousands of designers who’ve used Gendo along the way.

The video below is our first introduction to Canvas and the thinking behind it.

This is a big milestone for us, and just the beginning.

Would love to hear what people think.

Gendo ad on LinkedIn Ads: Over lunch, our Automation Manager, Ye Ha Kim, had the chance to sit down with our Founder, George Proud, to talk about the future of Architecture and AI. The conversation drifted, as it often does at Gendo, from science fiction to design practice, and how the blind spots of machines can mirror the blind spots of our own industry.

George recently wrote about Isaac Asimov’s I, Robot, where an AI-designed spaceship ends up technically functional, but alienating and absurd. It was a seamless shell stocked only with milk and beans. It was survival without humanity. He drew a parallel to Brian Christian’s account in The Alignment Problem, where a medical AI appeared to succeed on paper, but dangerously misclassified patients because it missed the context of human intervention. Both examples underscore the same truth that AI doesn’t just reflect our instructions. It magnifies our blind spots.

In design, those blind spots might look like buildings that meet regulations but neglect how people actually move, feel, or connect inside them. This is why authorship matters. As our Founder puts it, “Without a human hand framing what really matters, we risk futures full of milk and beans.”

But the conversation didn’t stop at cautionary tales. Over lunch, the discussion turned to the other side of the story, where AI can meaningfully enhance architecture. Imagine an airport where AI models simulate the journey of a late and anxious traveler, showing how light, flow, and acoustics can transform chaos into calm. Or a hospital layout tested virtually to ensure not just efficiency, but dignity and reassurance in moments of crisis. Or even a workplace where spontaneous interaction and belonging can be visualized, refined, and nurtured before the first wall is built.

These aren’t hypotheticals.

They’re already part of how our teams are designing. Generative video, scenario modeling, and immersive previews help us compress weeks of iteration into days, while also surfacing emotional patterns that might otherwise be overlooked. The result?

Faster alignment, richer collaboration, and spaces that resonate on a deeper, more human level.

At Gendo, we believe AI isn’t here to replace designers. It’s here to amplify them. Machines can simulate, accelerate, and reveal, but only human authorship can bring meaning, empathy, and context. Architecture has always been about more than function. It’s about memory, belonging, and the lived story of space. With AI as a partner, we can tell those stories with even greater clarity, care, and imagination.
